So named because of its location in Manchester’s old theatre-land, this large and extremely popular Wetherspoon pub has a very lively, yet always controlled atmosphere. However, what really sets it apart is the enthusiasm of the team here for their wide and interesting range of cask beers. Old photos of now closed theatres and cinemas adorn the walls but it is still very handy for many modern day venues including Manchester Central conference centre, Palace Theatre and Bridgewater Hall.
