Our Pub of the Year for 2024 POTY is City Arms the presentation is being made on Wednesday 1st May from 7pm.
The 2024 Cider POTY has been decided as the Marble Arch Date of the presentation will be posted asap
Both the 2024 pubs will be entered into the Regional 2024 competitions..

Pubs that have appeared in the Good Beer Guides.
Often come across an old Good Beer Guide and wondered what happened to a pub whose name you don't recognise? Well this document might be of assistance. It details what happened to the pub, and if it still a pub what the current name is.
Old Pub names in past Good Beer Guides
Pubs in the GBG from 1972 within the Branch area. These pubs would have been selected by the 3 original CAMRA Branches (North Manchester, Stockport and South Manchester and Trafford and Hulme) that used to have responsibility for CAMRA business within the City Centre. In 2016 a new Branch was formed - Central Manchester - that now has that responsibility.
